Much of the Tod Centenary Way (TCW) is on uplands where the terrain is sometimes fragile and it gets a lot of weather! As a result the route needs a lot of regular maintenance to ensure a good walking experience. In the surveying and waymarking exercise completed in March 2021 we identified work amounting to £950. This is beyond our current capability, so we need to set up a sustainable source of funding.
We have created a dedicated maintenance fund through the online giving platform JustGiving. Donations will be used to deal with problems on the TCW such as waymarking, drainage, cutting back etc.
Please make a donation to the TCW fund, any amount will be very well used.
If you look at our blog you will be able to see how we have used money from the fund.
